Sam and Logan's wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, and family. Their special day started at the house of Sam's sister, where the couple got ready together in a very relaxed and joyful atmosphere. With Sam's mom helping out, and their cats watching from the sidelines curiously as preparations were going on. It was a morning filled with laughter and sweet moments. One of my favorite pictures from the day has to be Sam and Logan's first look; with cats were peeking in through the window in the background—a truly personal touch that captured their love for their furry family members.
Sam was absolutely stunning in her gown, complete with a delicate flower-embroidered veil. She even did her nails to match the intricate floral design. Following their emotional first look, we made our way to Parsons Gardens, a tucked-away little gem in the heart of Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood. The parks surrounding lush greenery made this a dreamy setting for this lovely couple portraits and their family photos. The more secluded areas of the garden also afforded Sam and Logan a few moments of quiet before the ceremony.
The ceremony itself took place under a big, beautiful tree on a bright Pacific Northwest day. Sam and Logan exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by their Family and Friends. After the ceremony we made our way to Kerry Park, known for its stunning view of downtown Seattle. As we took portraits with the iconic skyline in the background, passersby gave the couple so many congratulations.
The reception was held at The Cathedral in Ballard, an amazing two-story venue that brought just the right amount of elegance and fun to the day. For the celebration, Sam changed into a more playful, shorter dress. The buffet meal featured huli huli chicken and Kula pork, a little nod to the couple's love for bold, flavorful dishes. The evening was further made special by entertaining speeches from both Sam and Logan's mothers, bringing laughter and happy tears to everyone in attendance.
As the night unfolded, the dance floor came alive, thanks to music provided by a close friend. After all the festivities, the couple shared a quiet, intimate moment together in one of The Cathedral’s cozy booths, a perfect way to reflect on their incredible day. Sam and Logan’s wedding was a true celebration of who they are as a couple, and I’m so grateful to have been part of capturing their story.
