Today I have the privilege of introducing you to a Senior I have know since the day she was born!! Mallory Schafer is that special person… Class of 2023! I cannot believe it is actually happening. Time flies when you know have people for so many years! I have watched Mallory and her older sister grow from babies to beautiful adults and it has been my honor to photograph both of their Senior Sessions.
Mallory is one of the most outgoing, and funny kids I know, she is fearless and willing to try anything. She is currently a Cheerleader…but she has also been on the golf team, tennis team and part of student leadership. She is a sweet girl with a sassy undercurrent. She loves her family and friends and has always been willing to help others at the drop of a hat. Her childhood proved that she’s not so good on a bike (and is a terrible driver), but is a pretty solid angler - fish fear her.
We had such a good time during Mallory’s session. We started at Clark Lake Park (one of my favorites). I wanted to capture some of her outdoorsy side and this park is perfect for that - big fir trees with winding boardwalks and wooden bridges throughout - all with the lake in the background. Eventually we were joined by one of her friends and drove to Wild Hearts Farm for some amazing pictures featuring an old Ford truck. The two of them were then kind enough to let me take them to the State Fair for the end of their session. I have always wanted to shoot at the fair and these two were the perfect pair to indulge me. I love unique locations for Senior Sessions - it makes the session memorable and can really tell the seniors story!
Thank you Mallory! it has been a pleasure to watch you grow up and I am proud of the young woman you have become. You have a bright future ahead of you! Good luck on everything. You will do well.
If you have a fun idea or an special location you want your senior photos at give me a call and let's have some fun!
