Spring in the Northwest just can't be beat. Beautiful long sunny cool days or at least that is the way it should be. However this year was different. Lots of cloudy rainy days what we actually got and poor Rachel and Venice had to reschedule their engagement session multiple times. We even had discussions about moss growing on us from the damp wet weather. We finally found a day that would work and wouldn't you know it, it started out stormy. We decided that it was worth taking the risk and made a plan B if the weather got worse. As we arrived at the Seattle Arboretum the sun magically appeared for us to create an amazing session.
As I do with all my clients, we started our session walking through the park looking for the perfect places to get amazing shots. I got to hear all about the travels they had done in the past year. We compared stories of palaces visited and talked about our favorites. They introduced me to new places I can't wait to visit and see for myself. I learned about both of their jobs Rachel who works in schools and Vince who works with computers.
As we continued our exploration of the park and enjoyed the blooming of all the rhododendrons and azalea's, they told me all about their wedding that are planing next year in Kona. Vince has family in Hawaii and they, along with their mainland family will come together for a big celebration.
