Laura and Nick's wedding day at Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish, Washington, was filled with love, laughter, and perfect weather. Lord Hill Farms is a beautiful place to have a wedding. This couple took full advantage of the beautiful outdoor space overlooking a serene pond. With the sun shining brightly and a slight breeze, the Pacific Northwest put on its best face for this very special day. The colors of the wedding, teal and peach, added such a fun, lively touch to the day and just enhanced the beauty of the venue.
Laura was beautiful in her lace-covered gown, accented with delicate buttons. But most meaningful to Laura was likely her bouquet. She accented it with pictures of loved ones who have passed. Getting ready, the couple made use of the venue's charming bridal and groom suites. Sticking with tradition, Nick and Laura did not see each other before the ceremony. That meant we did separate wedding party photos before the ceremony and finished family and couple portraits during cocktail hour. That first look down the aisle was so worth the wait, full of emotion and filled with love.
Immediately after the ceremony, I whisked Laura and Nick away for a few quiet moments and some stunning portraits. Lord Hill Farms offered so many picture-perfect spots, and just enhanced the love between these two. After, it was time to party! The couple made a grand entrance into the reception, where guests enjoyed a beautifully catered meal featuring salmon and chicken. The evening was filled with all the joyful moments of a traditional cake cutting, an energetic garter and bouquet toss, and plenty of dancing.
As the sun began to set, there was lots of laughter and joy; the warmth of Laura and Nick just radiated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. As the evening came to a close, there were personalized lip balms and bottle openers for everyone—a small token of remembrance of this special day. Laura and Nick's wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, and it's truly an honor to capture every little moment of this wedding. Wishing these two a lifetime of happiness!
